I started minutiae when I knew I had to move.

I started minutiae when I knew I had to move. I had moved three times in the previous eight years downsizing every time. When my husband left me, I moved yet again. But I was alone in that house and the neighbors weren’t very friendly so I got more and more lonely. I started minutiae at the time

I started looking for a new place to live.

Life had seemed kind of hopeless at that time, but as I started taking photos of my everyday life, I realize that it’s not about the destination. It’s all about the journey. And your journey may be most days, ordinary, and normal. But we always have the pictures from the exciting times. It’s good to be able to look back and see the pictures from the rest of the days when you were just living your life as best you could.

My new place is a senior living place. So there are people around all the time. I’m making new friends chatting with people. I don’t know and in general, living the same ordinary life, but with a little more joy And creativity.

And I see that in these photos, so thank you, minutiae staff, and inventors for helping bring me out of what could’ve been a depression and showing me by letting me show myself that my life is full in many ways.
